Every reduced fraction with a denominator from 2 through 12, plus the 16ths — the set school arithmetic and recipes actually use — sorted by size.
Why do some rows show ≈ instead of =?
Because those decimals never end. 1/3 is 0.(3), repeating forever, so any printed digits are rounded, and the chart marks them with ≈ rather than pretending they are complete.
Where this comes from.
Exact rational arithmetic on the values shown — fractions are pairs of integers until
display, and inch–metric conversion uses 25.4 mm to the inch, exact by definition since 1959.
